A Celebration of Music’s Best

The nominations for the 2025 BRIT Awards are officially in, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting year for music fans across the UK and beyond. With an impressive mix of veterans and newcomers, this year’s nominees span a wide array of genres, showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of the UK music scene.

Charli XCX leads the charge with an incredible five nominations, Charli’s genre-blurring style and fearless approach to pop music have cemented her as a frontrunner in 2025’s BRITs. This year’s Best New Artist category is packed with exciting up-and-coming talent. Ezra Collective, the acclaimed jazz collective, leads the charge with four nominations. Alongside them, The Last Dinner Party has earned four nominations, signalling the rise of this mystifying new group. 

Dua Lipa continues to dominate the British music landscape, with four nominations, including Artist of the Year and Best Pop Act. Similarly, Central Cee, Stormzy, and Fred again.. are all contenders across multiple categories, including Artist of the Year and Best Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act. These acts continue to push the boundaries of their respective genres, influencing both the UK and global music scenes. Lastly, this year’s international nominations feature some of the biggest global stars, with Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift all receiving nods in various categories. Chappell Roan, a rising star from the US, is also making her mark with two nominations, including International Artist of the Year.
